SCA 112g system. 60x18x24 Main display.
Current stock list

Clownfish x2 (Amphiprion ocellaris)
Clown tang (Acanthurus lineatus)
Copperband Butterfly fish (Chelmon rostratus)
Dusky blenny (Atrosalarias fuscus)
Ribbon Eel (Rhinomuraena quaesita)
Scopas tang (Zebrasoma scopas)
Silver belly wrasse (Halichoeres leucoxanthus)
Solar fairy wrasse (Cirrhilabrus solorensis)

1 dalmation molly... She's been in there for nearly a year.

Corals and anemones

Gold, teal and green tip hammers, mixed goni species, montipora sp. Torch coral, a couple of bubble tip anemones, blastomussa, micromussa, random mushrooms, pavona and pectinia, nothing excited. It's entertaining enough to watch who is growing and who isn't.

Older notes.
Equipment in use
Lights Orbit marine IC led (I hate these things) Noopsyche K7V3 x3.
SCA skimmer 302
SCA sump made as a fuge
return pump sca something. Its just all so generic. Jabaeo 4000 return pump. Very very quiet. It's been over a year and still running well.

Livestock
Emperor Angelfish - powder blue tang - melanurus wrasse - one spot foxface - 2 clown fish - 2 firefish

Random hammer corals - 2 torches - Birdsnest - Gonioporas

My aquarium is boring.

Edit: There has been a lot of live stock changes. The emperor and Powder blue needed new homes.
Powder blue was just too aggressive, emperor was just massive.
I have since added
scopas tang
Atrosalarias holomelas
Carpenter Wrasse Him and bristlestar are missing. :(
July 2022
Bristlestar has been found. No pics of the booger.

Melanurus wrasse was removed due to sand spitting on corals. Beautiful fish, but not working out.
Added a female ribbon eel. Named her Eli. She's been in main display since Junly 09,22.

Oh, I love my tank. It takes time for sure to get things to look really alive.

Going through old photos of my last reef. Years and years of growth. The time it takes to keep things going and stable. It's all worth it.
Edit: These pictures back in 2012 -2014, before a serious heater malfunction. I've been away from aquariums for 2 years. A lot of work ahead of me now.

Some changes to the sump (miner) added a ball valve. Waiting for the day everything slips out of place bulkheads.jpg
Here's where I tumble my chaeto and caulpera. And on the far left is the return pump. SCA return pump broke on me and I got a DC 4000 pump. Pretty impressed on how quiet it is. Some redslime growing in my sump, but it's not difficult to remove.

It's morning and everyone is hungry. My little one already had his breakfast. Feather dusters are caking up back of my glass, I stopped caring.

I think I'm forgetting something?
I'll post it when I remember.

My little son has nerds for parents. My dad was a mechanic/carpenter/ repair man. Loved his schematics. Always reading his books.
My husband's dad is a construction worker.
My husband is a guitar/pedal nerd.
Me? I love my fish and pets. I should have went into computer science.

Sounds like smart parents to me. And you can do what you really want. My oldest daughter just went back to school to be an RN. She dropped out to raise my granddaughter and now she’s 10 and mom is back in school. Hubby is working and so is she so she goes at night and online.
You can do it!

Added some yumas last night.
I didn't know they were yuma, but they looked really nice sitting in the lfs. Maybe, I'll get the rest he has. If my wrasse stops spitting sand on them.
I need to get a photo filter for my phone. List goes on of wants.
