I haven't posted in a long time but wanted to share my nano. This started out in a cheap 10 gallon petco tank and 5 years later it's still running strong now in a 12 gallon rimless bookcase. Started with nothing but softies and have graduated to simple SPS and a RBTA. Low-tech for the entire 5 years.

I'm running a Kessil a80 and my monti cap and birdsnest have been growing like crazy. In fact I had to cut back the cap a lot because it was getting out of control. The key to using an a80 is to lower the light close to the water line as they instruct and have SPS higher on the rock work. Mine is 5 inches from water line but I have recently reworked some stuff after cutting back on the overgrowth and now the SPS is a little lower than before. I may lower my light to 4 inches. The monti digi is new so not sure how it will fair in this tank. So far so good.
