Tank is looking good!
We have the same setup. The a80 is a great light for the 14 biocube, and an awesome price at that.
Pretty soon your tank will start coming together. Add piece by piece and soon enough it will be a thriving little reef.
Tagging along your thread. Thanks for the link.

What kind of salt mix are you using?

I use reef crystals but I'm thinking of switching over to kent or perhaps red sea.

I only asked because mine got sucked to it the first hour I put them in. So I blocked mine off except for a few slots to still get water flow thru it. Im thinking of pulling off the block plate but nervous they might not learn lol

Nice tanks guys! I've had a 14 gallon and an 8 gallon biocube. Just wanted to mention but you may already know, that Astraea snails have one heck of a time trying to flip themselves back over. If you see them like that, you should flip them back over. Otherwise you feed your hermits well!:D

I was thinking of putting a mesh black piece in front of it, and I wouldn't need anything to hold it in place since the flow is just strong enough

Right now I have a plastic square on the inside of chamber 1 and holding it in place with magnets to see if I liked it. It's been like that for about a week. Water still goes in thru there but about 80% of it is blocked except for the edges so the suction is reduced a lot. Going to leave it for another week or two to make sure I don't see any negative affects and then I'll just seachem reef glue it inside the chamber 1.

That sounds good, seachem would hold if nothing else would for sure.

The top palys are green implosions, and the bottoms are cinnamon palys.
