Hi everyone, my 220gal sprung a leak a couple of weeks ago and I've got a 180gal peninsula tank on the way. I'm doing a couple of upgrades.
Upgrades:
Reef Octopus regal 250 sss skimmer
Replacing 3x kessil ap700's with old, new in the boxes, 3x sundial hqi 150w mh/cfl combos. I want to see if I like mh better.
Probably replace return lines tubing for pvc.
Remove sump dsb.
Staying:
55gal sump
Panworld 50px-x external return pump.
Stand. I'm going to have to add some bracing on one side because I had my old tank reversed on the stand and had to cut out holes for the returns/drains.
I'm pretty excited about the skimmer and I am very interested to see how I like the lights. I also ordered some Phoenix 14k bulbs. I wasn't planning on having to do a new build, but it is what it is. At least I won't have to think about anything major for years.
