20 gal. long set up ideas

im wanting to set up a 20 gallon long and would like to do a sump/refugium but have never bone one before and was looking for some advice and guidance on how to go about doing one. what would be a good size and how to hook it up to my tank and over flow options. not looking to go crazy expensive but i also wanna do it right. another thing would be a good LED light for a 20L, always used t5 but love the color of LED and would like to try them on this tank so and info on that would also be appreciated.. thanks in advance
