20 gallon tank

this is my 20 gallon tank 15 lbs live rock ,8 hermit crabs ,1 firefish 1 clown 1 starry blenny tank has been running for 1 month equipment is cfs 500 filter and 1 maxi jet 400 pump for circulation solar xtreme lights

I am not trying to tell you how to run your tank but at some point you will need a skimmer I learned that the hard way it's easier to get one and be done with it.Also for flow so you don't have any more dead spots put another maxi jet in there.For the skimmer get a back pac

Also do you keep up with your water changes?
Do you do one once a week or every other week?
I have that size tank and I do a 4 or 5 gallon water change every other week.
