25g cube- AI sol blue Height??

Hey Guy's, I have a 25g cube 18x18x18 and was wondreing how high I would I have to mount the AI SOL blue? Tank is in the tv room so I cant have that much light spillage.. Would the AI rails and legs be too low? I plan on keeping some( very little) SPS and then mostly lps and softies. Or should I just wait for the NANO. Thanks for the help, very confused with leds . I think the legs will definitely be too short for an 18" tank and only one light. I'd suggest buying the hanging kit, it's adjustable so you can raise/lower as needed. I think you'll probably need to go ~12" off the tank to get the spread you're looking for.

The optics are fairly tight. These won't be like a T5 bulb where the reflectors spill light like crazy.

There will be some ambient light spilling but nothing that will distract you when watching tv.

Unless your tank is on a 50" stand and your laying on the floor it shouldn't be a problem.

Go with the hanging kit.

i would have it 24" off the tank if it's not dimmed fwiw..... there powerful be careful!!

Thanks guys for the help, 24" off the tank wont work, wife would freak :) I just saw the AI nano side mount and I like it alot. May go with a nano unit. Looks like its a better fit for a 25g cube.
