29g biocube re-do?

so i want to completely re-do my biocube. this means i will remove all rock, water, and sand. i will start with new live sand and water. the rocks have been soaking in a bucket of somewhat saltwater, but it is not at proper temp or salinity. this is because i am trying to kill off mushrooms and aiptasia. my question is: do you guys think the tank will have to cycle all over again?
