40 breeder build out.

I'm starting this hobby with a house warming gift of a used 40 breeder and stand. I'm currently in the buying phase and ensuring I have everything ready to do the initial setup as soon as I close on the house and finish moving.

My current list of equipment I plan on utilizing.
Reef-pi I'm building to control ato, temp, lighting timers,dosing, and monitor ph.
Trigger systems ruby 30 sump
36" t5ho hybrid with two ai prime HD
2 Sicce 3.5 return pump, in parallel for redundancy
Reef octopus 110int skimmer
Brs 7 stage rodi
2 300watt heaters, one primary and the second as a backup.
1k flow rate icecap gyre flow pump


For testing I plan on a full suite of hanna checkers and basic test kit's to cover the things not covered by hanna. A Milwaukee instruments salinity checker.

Nice. I'm just getting started with a 40 breeder as well. Using another 40 for a sump/fuge. Equipment I am using is a sicce 3.0 return, vertex Omega 130 skimmer, mp40, glass holes overflow, 2- 200 watt eheim heaters, 2 kessil a160we's. 50 lbs Fiji pink sand and 50 lbs reef saver rock. I'm picking up the kessils and my first fish tomorrow! [emoji3] a pair of ORA mocha gladiator clowns.

Sounds like we have very similar builds, so can't wait for my first fish. It's exciting or maybe I'm a nerd but either way I can't wait.
