40G Breeder

Setting up my first reef tank. Got a good deal on an imaginarium 40 gallon breeder and stand. Fluval AC70 HOB filter. Stand is together with tank sitting on top. Nothing else together or on. Will be getting rock, sand, water and everything else to start the cycle next weekend.

Plan to get the following to complete setup:

Maxspect Jump gyre flow pump
Maxspect Razor X R5 light
Smart ATO nano 2 hang on auto top off
HOB protein skimmer.

Any suggestions for lights, skimmer or power heads are welcome. I'm excited to get my first reef tank going. I'll post pics once I get the rock sand and water in for cycle.

Nice build. I like the Razor X since it doesnt have to be connected to the back since im doing HOB filter and skimmer. Trying bot to loose space inside tank.
