Honestly I absolutly love the shallow//lagoon look you get from having a fairly small rock pile. Obviously it could hinder your eventual stocking as you run out of room but I think it looks sweet as is! As @count krunk said its your tank! there's a ton of ways to scape and there's no better way to get ideas than scrolling through R2R!

they struggle a lot with the flow ime

Would guppies impact a lot on biomass in saltwater? I might get some because they naturally live in streams, estuarys or salt marshes and stuff with softies and macros and gorgs

Mollies do the best (to my knowledge) of fw to sw conversion.

quick update: im getting some more rock :) everything is doing good. some hitch hiking crabs ate the hammer coral unfortunately :( I will be getting a valentini puffer to eat them.

or does anyone have any suggestions for fish that will eat pest crabs ?

Duncan, colony from live rock, and a nice goni that the clown won’t stop bothering. I got him TWO anemones and he still mostly stays at the goni
