Hope I am not jumping the gun since the tank is supposed to be here Friday .
I use the name of Mordibv on R See
Could not decide between a 70 Cadlights / DB 57 or illuminata . Space is a premium in a second story apt . I will be moving in about 6 months or so . I am not in the mood to move something big with school and work .
I also lost almost everything I had in a grow out tank due to a failed inverter in the past snow storm that hit the North East . All my prized SPS are in coral heaven .
So here is a new start . This will be a slow build so don't bash me too hard on getting it wet .

System Contents

Perfecto Majesty black stand
57 Oceanic Illuminata undrilled .
CPR CS 100 (friend had one laying around) . I will drill the tank later . Proly GH overflow .
Skimz SK 201 or SKimz SM 121 . Depends on which one will fit in the sump .
Eshopps ADV -200 Advance Sump .
Eheim 1260 return pump
Tunze 6055 with a 7091 and branch adapter (still looking for another mint 6055)
Tunze 6015 for dead spots
Bubble Magus TM01 and TM -02 / 7 pump dosing unit .
RKL level 3 with SL-1 with ATO switch etc
Custom Slim Acrylic top off (holds 5 gallons )
Marine Color Acrylic 1.5 l x 3 dosing container .
Lots of silicone tubing for the dosing pumps
Hydor pico for top off pump .
Slimline S 18 led unit with 60 degree optics upgrade for the frag area in sump .
CeramEco Artisan Bonsai Rock 12 x 14 x 12
8 bulb ATI powermodule
Via Aqua 200 watt Titanium Heater
Undecided on how much live rock to order . Proly less than 40lbs .

It still doesn't make up for my heartache with my corals . I guess I'm kinda backwards since I'm getting the tank and stand last . Sump will be here Thursday hope it's not all busted up ,

This is going to be a nice build. Top notch equipment coupled with an experienced reefer. Looking forward to following this.

That dosing container is awesome. Where did you find that beauty?

Thanks Pistol . I found it via Ebay from China . I'll send you the link via pm . I have been waiting almost a year for the shipping to come down and now it's very reasonable . I like it since they have graduations and it's easy to see how much is left .

Rock's are mostly unique . Not sure of that means no duplicates . Try this vendor . They are slow as molasses being poured on a cold winter day with getting new stock in . That's even calling the manu to give the vendor a bump in the rear .
I am still waiting for the branch rock to no avail . Once you select or buy a unit make sure you copy the image so you know what your getting . It pulls it out of the cart and site when you order it .

The units I saw are pretty big

This bargain corner has one that might work .

Bonsai VidaRock AT53 | Aqua-Tecture

I do love this one but it's huge .

Good choice on the illuminata. My buddy is in the process of setting his up, but I dont know how you could resist that 70g CAD! Both sick tanks though.

The 70 Cad is nice and the correct dims but for a lil more I may be able to get two tanks out of the price of the CAD.... My dream tank and a temp tank and the illuminata is not the dream tank ;)

Sump came in took a hit on the top of the box . It was on the door step when I got home from work . I'll take pic's of it later on . This box is pretty big . 30 x 14 x 16

I just had to look at the sump and share . I do not think there is any damage . It was the open area of the sump where the box got punctured .
Yea!!! ... The 201 fits on there like a glove . No room to spare . U can see the black acrylic that is the refugium section , and the other side where the skimmer is .
Missing bio balls , probe holders and the other light rack holder for a refugium light . Will have to send an email to get it resolved .

I bought the AT53. The exact piece you posted in the link. That was just what I wanted. Thank you
