So it’s happened, I purchased and picked up a 600g aquarium. The dimensions of it are 10’x4’x2’(LxWxH). I currently have a 225 up and running that will break down once I get the 600 going. I’ll post picks of this thing. By the way the pictures don’t do it justice. The location of this tank will be what once was a dinning room. The floor will be strengthened so it can hold the 7,000+lbs from this new tank. Over all the tank pick up was easy and transfer was just as easy. I’ll be replumbing it as there set up is a bit different then the route I would go.
what it came with: aside the tank I got the stand and half canopy. 2 dc pumps and 2 wet dry sumps with a 6’ light.
My over all goal is to keep the wet/dry sumps but use another 40g and up as a 3rd sump. I’ll have 3 pumps running 2 for returns and 1 for a manifold plus reserculation back to the other sumps.
I want to go coral preferred soft coral. My 225 has 2 radion gen5 that will be brought over and of course my apex system will move over as well.
I forgot to add this tank came with an insert. Now I’m not sure what y’all opinions are but I’ve decided to keep it. I’ll be securing it and sealing it so that crabs, snails and small fish don’t make it into the black pit of death.
