same but they're pretty dangerous
After using the cordless, I will 100% stick with my corded model.

It's the same to me as corded versus cordless drills. I use all battery pack drills now, But I own both a 3/8 and a half inch, Old school corded drills.

You bind one of those things and it'll take your wrist off before it stops spinning. Someone's, you see a little more gAss!

When I got the entire blade buried down in the skeleton of a euphilia, I don't want it to bind down. I need that thing to keep spinning

Okay, you gotta share that!
LOL, well..... I had my Dremel on my desk unplugged with the little circular blade on the tip. I needed to use it so I leaned over to plug it in. Unbeknownst to me the unit was not off so as I plugged I heard it go on and a little buzz. I immediately pulled away and started a rather heated conversation with myself. My daughter heard me pacing and came into my room to see what the ruckus was. I asked her if she was okay with blood and her response was, "Dad I'm gonna be a nurse" (and she is) So I showed her the damage to my ear and she asked me to pull it up to see better. When I lifted it swung out horizontally and the blood gushed. I always remember her response, " Oh thats not supposed to do that !" So off the to ER and 13 stitches later....

O ya ill update with my new sump im building upgrade frok the eshopps 300series. 60x18x15 should almost 2.5x the water volume to 71 and give me 2.5x flow back.

learned to router half butt holes and i think itll turn out. Total project cost $425 . Might attempt to flame polish the routered edges or… maybe not. Waiting on weldon to arrive to stick er together.

o ya switching to filter cups and poly fil.
The back cup will forever be stuck once i cement . But o well. My weir is cool to! lol hey its waving at me.

the 10 cuts at the top that traced my fingers? or the bottom holes?

Idk any formulas for planning this
I was going to comment on the bottom holes. I thought you were going to go all the way across with them. That's really one of the last spots you want to be a bottle-neck because then its really easy for your socks to get bogged down.

The point was the cordless Dremel is sub par. I have the corded 4300 model, and have put it through its paces and am very happy with it. It is my first choice for fragging.
My anxiety is now 1000% that I would cut my finger off. LOL

You'll do fine. just don't hold the frag you're cutting with you're hand! I used pliers to hold the frag plug then cut off what was necessary. I did use my hand todo one thing and of-course the thing skipped and gave me enough of a scare not todo it again. No coral (very few) are worth permanent bodily harm.

And its almost done

I need to shave some off the bulkheads to get the lid to fit how i want. Do the downspouts the way i want and weld the top.

water test before welding the top
