Hey Nate tanks looking good my friend ive had much nastier uglies than yours for sure:) What dimensions is the final outcome of your tank? Im loving the 18" depth on my 2x4 lowboy:D
Get that 5 micron sock ordered up and dose/ keep Phosphates in detectable range and you should be gold. Siphon all surfaces through it back to sump daily as long as you see it while you balance nutrients.
Yours ain't as bad as I thought honestly and you should have it beat pretty quickly.
Peep the nasty shroom on top left rack;)

I'm just trying to snag and isolate a baby from the electus green Jawbreaker that's in the cup. That other one shouldn't be there:) Top Dawgs are on racks in no specific order but mostly my favorites lol:) The one on left made the cut a long time ago. She's pretty nasty for sure!

Let's see?
Best pic I could get the glass is dirty since I haven't been cleaning it. Per reco. Mostly on the newest rock.

The older rock seems fine. Good corralline coverage. Still when half died off that's when dinos started maybe it was nutrients bottoming.

Sup Nate how's this going today?
Good you? Dinos seem to be on the mend.

Got the 5 micro sock in the mail . Upon using my skimmer went on the fritz idk what that was about. Threw it in the washer. It's fine now.

Tested 10n, .23p , retesting since yesterday was at .01 seems off.

How are you brother

Pretty good Nate thanks for asking!
Hahaha yeah I'd run that test again. Flip side is its seeing something. Love my 5 micron socks man. Going to get back into the habit of weekly maintenance with scraping glass, cleaning rock and tile floor and letting it drain back to sump through sock. I typically put it on overflows when I clean glass. You will be surprised how nice is flosses the water. Crystal clear man they def have alot of pros. Only con is keeping them clean and changed out but you only need about a day a week once it all gets caught up.

Lol sweet man probably be good with that for a few days but def keep an eye on it daily until you get through the nasties. That green sheen is an epic sign that good things are happening!

Right on. Did you do 2nd test? Don't be surprised at all if bad things dieing release nutrients back into your water column it can be drastic. Just keep an eye and let your phosphates settle in see how it looks over next couple days.

Today's update , dinos were beat back pretty good.

Vacced the goni on accident and made it angry whoops.

Cleaned glass and letting it drain to the 5 micron sock . Looking solid back to normal. Now how to keep phos from bottoming but not going to high. Less gfo?
