Ok I started my 1st reef tank about 4 years ago. A 54 gallon corner reef ready with stained canopy and stand. Now I am very observative and I read all I could possibly find while setting it up and in 7 months time it went from bare tank to semi stocked to a tank crash at 4 months to a master piece 3 years later. Long story short I didnt like fragging my corals and don't like letting go of my aquarium inhabitants, so I needed a bigger tank to keep them all, no matter how much I loved my 54 gallon corner I needed more space so now my journey with the 75 gallon build begins.. So I'm going with a 75 gallon drilled tank with eshopps M overflow because the fear of drilling to many holes lol. I will also be building my own stand and canopy set. Being that's what I started with I can't go without it now, but a floating canopy this time. Also with a longer tank now, I took this time to upgrade my lighting from my old 250w metal halide to the new JEBAO Al-150 leds. Yes they make leds now lol. Anyway I will be keeping all my corals not the sand and old equipment, with plans on building a bigger sump soon. Thanks if you stayed this long enjoy, comment and let me know your thoughts.

Great job on your new build, so much more satisfying to do your own work and as an avid DIY-er myself think that it's the best part of a new system.
