My biggest concerns would be getting the Phosphate level reasonable and showing no Ammonia.

I have black looking algea growing on the rocks. Is it possible that it's cyano bacteria/algea? Kind of a silly question but how often should I do water changes? Right now I'm doing once a week. Is that enough? I'd do more but my rodi system produces pretty slow . sometimes i have to wait 2-4 hours just for a 5 gallon bucket to fill up
