A little late starting this build thread, so I'll update daily to get it caught up.

I have always had some type of fish and tanks. But up till a few years ago they were all freshwater. I always heard and was told saltwater tanks are difficult and a p.i.t.a., so that made me shy away.

I started with a Landen 60P i stole off marketplace for $80. I filled it with some rock and just let it run for about 6 months.
I then got 2 Clowns and 2 green bubble tip anemone. It was fun, and I started learning about the hobby. I found out pretty quick how much work a smaller tank can be.

Watching videos got my mind going about all the cool fish and corals I was missing out on.

Naturally, my first obsession was man's best friend! We have 3 dogs, I have 2 Corsos, and the lady has a frenchie. So we have Petco Vital Care for them. I took advantage of my subscription and Petco's tank sale to pick up a 75g tank for the display, and a 40g breeder to build into a sump for under $200!

Went to Home Depot and got some acrylic sheets, some silicone, and some 2x6's for the stand and got to work. Was simple to build and works great.

Got tank cycled and bought first 2 fish, Black Ocellaris Clownfish. Been doing good for 2 months now.
