Hey guys. I am returning back to the hobby after a few years away. I had a massive tank crash that killed all of my fish, and really killed my desire to continue.

However, I recently got acquainted with serious reefs, specifically their 90/10 method. So I am about to endeavor on setting up my 75 gallon reef tank using their method specifically.

I plan to specifically go for a mixed reef, I really would like to be successful with corals. Also I would like to implement strict quarantine strategies. Lastly I will be implementing an auto water change system to ensure a 10-20% water change weekly.

Current Equipment:

Coral Pro Salt Mix
Nero 5 Powerhead
75 gallon
15 gallon sump
Kessil A360XE x1 (getting one more)
Apex
COR-20 Apex Return Pump (was for a larger tank but will just run it slower)
Titanium Heater

On the list to get:

Orbit 2 Cross Flow
Protein Skinmer
Refugium
Dosing Container
Auto Top Off
Auto Water Change

I started watching Serious Reefs 90/10 series and have become encouraged enough to try and restart my reefing journey. I plan to use the 90/10 method to hopefully have a successful mixed reef tank by the end of the year.
Welcome to Reef2Reef!

By the end of this year may be a bit of a lofty goal, but I hope you have success! Good luck!
