I just got my hands on these 2 weeks ago. They ARE SWEET. I have seen them under different lighting setups, and i must say it looks great under all of them. When I started in the hobby, LFS would sell "blue" zoas, which looks slightly bluish only under actinics. when i get home they are just green with a hint of teal. The guy i got it from said it grows fast for him too. If that's the case , why is it still expensive and hard to get?

WOW! A great thread, from way back when. I've had Tubs Blues, off and on, for several years. For some reason, I've had entire colonies that've gone south on me, twice, usually after fragging. I decided to give up on them, for a couple of years, and just got a frag of them again, a little over a week ago. They've always been one of my favorites!!! I guess I need to get a pic of them posted.

Here's some of my old pics. Sorry they aren't the best of pics.

Since not having any Tubs Blues, for quite some time, until acquiring a frag a couple of weeks ago, I figured I'd post a new pic, of the new frag. These came from a very healthy colony and were fragged, for quite some time, before I got them. I'm confident that they'll do well! I plan on babying them...lol. It's nice to have Tubs Blues, once again!!

Nice pics!! I have a small frag of about 10-15 tubbs that i love...deep blue!! I definitely baby them since they seem a little touchy!
