A new little girl.. to add to my collection a pretty little Jordani... my 2 McCoskers have been flirting royally.. I’m hoping she does what fairies do and transitions to a Male as she cost me £100 rather than £320 for a Male... worth trying to me

WOW!!!! Very nice. Soon little larvae coming, you'll see. This Saturday, I to picked a small one. It was releasing babies as soon as it was in my tank. I think stress. But coral fine.
Thanks for sharing, comrade

Forgot, my NO3 at 25ppm. Still seeing babies . And corals fine

My sun coral really seemed to open up when I added frozen Copepods and fish eggs into my normal frozen food mix

Can't believe you got it to open in daylight. Very cool
Thankyou, It’s taken lots of food and the increased nitrates have browned a few acros, I’ll have to sort those out now...2 steps forward and a little 1 back, think I’ll have to dust my old nitratereductor down if they don’t start to come back down now I can play with the amounts I feed

I thought of going that way, but went vodka and zero O2.. the build is earlier in my thread, I took it off when I lost all of my fish and I’ve never needed to put it back on... maybe I won’t need it yet

I like the idea of vodka, excess bacteria good food or at least food for filter feeders. Also place a sponge in sump and squeeze at times. Food for filter feeders.

I also have 11 sand sleeping wrasse that send little plumes of detritus etc into the tank every night, I’m sure this helps as well

How long have you had all your wrasse together?
Do you feel that the wrasse of the same species, in your tank, fight?

I’ve been introducing them over the last 12 months, I’ve had a few squabbles but nothing serious and everything settles down after a few days of peacocking.

I’ve had to put my recirculating nitrate reactor back into the system, a year of stocking fish and my nitrates are higher than I want, currently sitting at 25ish, hopefully over the next 6-8 weeks I’ll have them in the 5-10 range..
