Thankyou, Its good to hear yours transition so quickly, I decided to try it after reading a few articles on here about buying pairs of fairy wrasse..I always buy females. the transition happens around 6 months to a year for me all the time. Everything looks nice!

But coral fine.Really happy boy, at last my sun coral is coming out to shine during the day, its only taken me 3months!! Now need to trim my nitrates back a touch there upto 25... thanks to @Dr. Dendrostein and @najer you have broadened my horizons as to what can be done.... carnation coral next
My sun coral really seemed to open up when I added frozen Copepods and fish eggs into my normal frozen food mix

Thankyou, It’s taken lots of food and the increased nitrates have browned a few acros, I’ll have to sort those out now...2 steps forward and a little 1 back, think I’ll have to dust my old nitratereductor down if they don’t start to come back down now I can play with the amounts I feedCan't believe you got it to open in daylight. I like the idea of vodka, excess bacteria good food or at least food for filter feeders. Also place a sponge in sump and squeeze at times. I also have 11 sand sleeping wrasse that send little plumes of detritus etc into the tank every night, I’m sure this helps as wellI like the idea of vodka, excess bacteria good food or at least food for filter feeders. Also place a sponge in sump and squeeze at times. Food for filter feeders.
I’ve been introducing them over the last 12 months, I’ve had a few squabbles but nothing serious and everything settles down after a few days of peacocking. How long have you had all your wrasse together?
Do you feel that the wrasse of the same species, in your tank, fight?
