In all seriousness, not cheap but consider MP-10, 40, etc.

Factor in you'll have them for a decade or more.

Factor in cleaning is a breeze, just swap out wetsides.

Factor in low profile look with no cord in the tank...

Factor in broad, strong, adjustable flow..

They have a lot of value IMO...
Did consider but an mp10 in a 13g mixed reef is like a cow in a bath tub

Jeabo 0W-10. I have one in a 30g remote fuge.
Its not much bigger than a golfball and has a controller with several different settings.

I use ow-25's in my 45 frag system. I use 0w-40's in my 120.

I have been running the 25' for 4 years with no issues.

This is before I cleaned them.

Jebao Sow-4 or a Aquamai KPS pump - both are small but powerful. I used them in a 7g and 5g.

I just cleaned both ow 25's this morning in my 3x2x1 frag system.
Left the coralline on as its not closed up yet. I only run these at 30%. Very decent controlable pump for, imo, cheap.
This pic is after I removed all coralline from them drom.my 120. This is 2 years in my 45 frag system

How do you like it?
I am a Tunze guy.
With that said the Jeabos, imo, are impressive. The ow 25 in the pic started in my 120 and are now in my 45 frag system.
They have nice controllers.
2 wave modes
1 else mode
1 constant
1 shift mode
2 pumps can also be linked together to run opposite each other.

I run else mode which is a random flow in my 120. I also change modes every few days to wave mode.

I run a wave mode in my frag system.

Although they are not Tunze pumps, which I have a few that are 15 years old and still running,
I will be using them in the future.
They will only get better as new models are released.
I also have enough backups to run a few new systems if needed.

I got them to test when I setup my 120 and have been impressed so far. Time will tell how long they last.

An economic example.
In this pic you see a ow-40 in the front. Second is a Tunze 6105.
On the back wall is a Tunze 6095.

The ow-40 pushes as much water as the 6105 and is considerably smaller.

So one 6105 is $300.
I can get 4 ow-40's for $300.
