I was researching possibly automating a future greenhouse/aquaponics/tilapia setup and ran across automation equipment from a company named AC INFINITY …basically sorta a “Neptune Apex” ish automation company for the indoor grow community…
So I did a seach here on R2R and only found this
AC Infinity peristaltic pumps.

…anyway, on the surface it appears it “possibly” might be a cheaper alternative to Neptunes expensive gear…
Any thought, opinions or experiences with this appreciated

I took a quick look but did not get into the specs about controlling output, can it handle the amperage a 200 watt heater needs, can you cross it over to use probe inputs like pH, dKH, and salinity ?

I can't comment on your main question however I will say that I run an ac infinity inline duct fan to exhaust the heat from my fish room as well as a grow tent clip fan aimed over my sump for cooling. Both have dealt with significant salt creep overt he past 6 months of continuous use and continue to do great. I really need to pull them down and give them a good cleaning!

I just set up an AWC system with their pumps. Super quiet and seem to be built very well. I have them plugged in to one of their AI outlets- basically a smart surge protector. I saw they have a decent array of control options. As far as I remember seeing, the only probes they have are for growing related parameters. If they made sensors that would be useful in a reef tank I would definitely purchase some.

The app is pretty solid and has options for automation.

At first glance, it looks like viable options are available for aquarium use.

Outlet control can handle up to 1800 watts.

And sensors specifically state "aquarium" use.

They also carry some other cool and useful items.

thats relevant.... I would think tilapia tanks need heaters...wonder if their customer service (if any) can field that question

So does their gear have decent "fit and finish", decent plastics, rust proof metals, et et ...basically whats the touch/feel quality like? ...pics on net look good, but....

...appreciate that, same question as above; how would you rate the gear qaulity using Neptune stuff as a baseline?

Thanks, curiosity peaked ... you know of any additional opinions or data points like forus,, Reddit post, whatever... Askung because I accidentally bumped into this company trolling Aquaponics vids and was kinda surprised another company entered this space, but from a Hydro angle ...I already knew there was some "Crossover" between aquariums and hydro but never kew anyone would take commercial advantage of that ...
Edit add: ... I'm reviewing their gear on the website now, will repost sometime later if I learn anything relevant

Sorry, haven’t used any other kind of controls I can compare to

I've been using the pumps for almost a year now, and haven't had any problems. They still look new and are still spot-on accurate. Definitely well built.

Controller Plus AI ? Sounds intriguing, but here is the thing; web site descriptions are always full of current "techno-speak" jargon that sounds compelling:
  • Revolutionary AI-powered controller with CO2 sensor, actively learns and adapts to its environment to automate equipment that will precisely regulate carbon dioxide levels.
  • Let AI analyze climate patterns and anticipate spikes, to program devices to dynamically output the exact percentage needed to maintain an optimal environment.
  • Sensor enables smart CO2 programming that dynamically adjusts carbon dioxide levels, optimizing FAE (fresh air exchange) and setting minimum intake speeds for maximum efficiency based on PPM (Points Per Million).
  • Control your setup from anywhere via WIFI with our app, featuring real-time AI insights, guides, alerts, charts, and the ability to chat with our AI bot about your grow.
  • Mix and match up to 32 devices from the largest platform of smart fans, grow lights, humidifiers, heaters, A/Cs, and grow lights & outlet devices from other brand
....I dunno, I've certainly spent more for inept Neptune stuff: flow sensors, et ... Not 100% sure I want to enter into another equipment universe, but CO2 monitoring of my fish room is sorta compelling
