Acameron2's little mangrove patch

exactly, I think you did a great job with this tank

It seemed like it took forever for this tank to get to my liking but I'm finally happy with it and stopped playing around in it. And thank you for the kind words makes me feel good about my tank. [emoji4]

Great tank. I love mangroves out the top too. I'm curious what will happen when the roots get big. I know mine have reached a good 15" down, and really thick. Will they grow more horizontal or just push the mangrove upwards? In haven't cut mine yet, I just keep raising the lights and turning them up. They grow so slow for me, but I probably don't rinse them enough.

I'm definitely waiting to see what the roots are going to do when they run out of sand and rock. I can already see about 1/2 inch thick roots popping out parts of my sand bed. I just fluff sand back over them. I've read about mangrove roots actually breaking through the silicone of tanks [emoji15]
