Anyone have the bubble magus mini q? Is it actually 2" wide? I want to use it in a Lifegard Crystal 14 peninsula. The width of the side sump is 2 1/4" wide, would I be able to make it fit there? As long as the body of the skimmer is actually 2" I can make my own bracket to hang it. I assumed the bracket it comes with takes up some space too. Thanks!

There ya go..

Out of curiosity how are you making a bracket? I just got mine and slightly annoyed it won't fit with my existing lid. If I had a thinner bracket by even 1/8 inch or so I think it will.
