I am very tired of this rock work i have and not being able to place anything i have very minimal rock work so im looking to add about 20lbs to the tank roughly 15 im going to cook so there will be no question about it but im out of buckets, do you think it will be fine to add the other 5lbs straight to my sump, i know im playing with fire here. Oh yea its roughly a 110G system.

IMHO I wouldn't add it to the sump, I would go to Wally world and buy a Rubbermaid container and let it soak in there with a powerhead and heater for a few weeks till all params are zero. Do 100 percent water changes every 3 or 4 days.

Agree. If you have any doubts about the rock, I wouldn't add it.

I feel your pain my friend lol my rock work is not coral friendly at all. Its my fault though everytime I redo my rock work its bc i moved so obviously its gets cloudy so I put it all in then to make it look more natural and not fake

Agree with the others, I would cook the rock for a couple weeks first. A single rubbermaid tub will hold a lot more than several 5 gallon buckets. Well worth the investment.
