I had a small spot in my backyard for a waterfall, and I knew I had to take advantage of this spot!

So,I have!I am partly done with it,I still have to do alot of edge work and get the liner work done on the edge along with foaming in the rocks, but this is where I am at this point!

Thoughts?

That looks great man! I need one!

Thanks Rev!This is def a stress realiver for sure!It only cost me $400 for me to build this that is including me cherry picking the rocks aswell.Im very impressed with my work on this...

Yeah, that looks great!!! Good photo too. I've always wanted a water feature (other than a tank) in or around the house. Good work : )

Thanks Craig!I shopped it a lil not going to lie,I added some softness to it,and toned the brightness down...it was to bright!

I love water features! They are great to have!It was pretty cheap to build this one actully!

Thanks Lee!I love these things! When I walk into my backyard, its sooo nice now!I missed it,and I didnt know how much I did, till I heard the waterfall for the first time on this pond!lol...

Ill post more pics of this badboy 2mrw when I have the red mulch and the scaping of it done!

Man I always order my askoll aka laguna pumps from az ponds so I get there Catalogs with such awesome pictures and set ups man I'm hoping soon I can do this...

AZ ponds is a great company for sure! And Luguna pumps are great aswell!I love Luguna products, however, this build was powered by other products that I have used for the past 4 years.

Im using the Little Giant 4280gph pump for a pump
Atlantic filterfalls(forget the model, its the $175 model though)
Forceflex Tubing
EPDM liner

There was other stuff used, but that was the basics that I had to buy that I didnt already have.

Very nice and I like it a lot.

But, I would add some more flatter pieces to the sides so it doesn't have the black lining.
Anyway to add another flat piece to the mouth of the water source?

Yup,the edge work still needs to be done, thats what is going to hide the liner...lol

The filterfalls has a false rock that is on order that will fit right in on the mouth of the filter...The filterfalls will be totaly hidden!

EDIT:I hardly ever use flat rocks for the edge work...lol,I use all cherry picked roucnd rock from a river that I buy from...

Looking good Austin! That is actually one of my projects around the house I need to do also..lol I have a natural spring on my property that runs 365 days a year. Are you going to add any fish, frogs or anything? I can't cause I have too many critters running around that would eat them including two hawks that regularly hunt my back yard.

Very NICE Austin. I love them and added on to my frontyard 2 years ago. There is nothing like listening to the water at night. Very peaceful. I also add a ATO to mine so I never need to worry about the water.

VERY nice! I have a spot in the corner of my back yard Ive been wanting to put some type of Water Fall.I hope it comes out as well as yours..Once again ....VERY nice :-)

@Paul-haha!Very nice!Get it done and take a pic!I want to see!lol! No,no fish, the pond itself is to small, and the frogs add themselves, haha!I have around 3 bull frogs already, and I will end up with more for sure by the end of the season, atleast 15.

@Brad-Yup!I listen to them all the time,Im not sure what it is,but waterfalls do have a peaceful since to them.Got any pics of your falls?

@Rick-Thanks!I hope it turns out very nice once Im done with it.Should be today or tomorrow.

@Mike-Nope,no koi in this pond, just a couple of goldfish that will keep the frogs company!haha!JK...I will not be adding koi to this pond, but I am already in the planning phase of adding a pond to the front yard to keep koi in,I already have a few koi in a stock tank that are doing well.I seen your koi fish awhile back...VERY nice, and impressive...

Judgeing from the waterfall you have going that must be a Nice backyard you have there great pic

Were still scaping the backyard, its got a wase to go,but we are getting there! Thanks!

Looks great Austin! I'll have to snap a few pics of the little waterfall setup that they have where I work. It was beautifully landscaped around it with a little bridge and a bench. There's a small "pond" at the base with some koi and some frogs. Maybe it will give you a couple ideas to work with.

Thanks!!!I have a few ideas as to what I should do,but I still what to see your pics!lol...I like to see waterfall pics!Gives me a ton of new ideas generally!
