is it already Bryopsis? My tank is still cycling (five weeks). I just have a small CUC (herbivorous snail). My parameters are standard (KH 8, pH 7.8, Mg 1400, Ca 420, Sal 1.025).

Take the rock out. Scrub it with a brush. Put it back in and you are good. I hope your CUC and nutrient export methods can help keep the algae in check since things will get more complicated once fish and coral are added!

Yes, it is bryopsis. Try manual removal first. Take the rock outside spray the affected area with hydrogen peroxide unduliluted. If all else fail, you can try the fluconazole. But it should be the last resort.

The system is 25 gallons. There are 25 lbs of (not yet live) rock and 5 lbs of live rock (quite alive https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/myxicola-worms.1149100/). My nitrates are around 0, phosphates too. Interestingly, the system didn't get much light yet, from 12 am to 5 pm.
Manual removal as previously stated is a good choice.

Assuming you dont have any corals, turn the lights off for a week after the manual removal. The fish will be fine with ambient light. Itll slow it down and allow your tank some time to settle down.
