All new tanks come pre-drilled for Hydra Mounts?

I'm being told by BRS that Red Sea is still shipping drilled 525XL's and will continue to do so until they run out. They also said no way to special order a non-drilled one. I guess I just have to wait a few more weeks/months?!?

that's a BRS rep unwilling to get on the phone. Just go through a LFS and have the shop owner call Red Sea and push a non drilled one or no sale.

I purchased a reefer 170 thru BRS with their Memorial Day sale. BRS called Red Sea today and confirmed the tank would not be drilled

To be clear, what BRS told me did not contradict @boozeman27, BRS replied '... confirmed that the tank you purchased is no longer being shipped drilled for the lighting'. So I got lucky with a 170, BRS didn't have to call in any favors

It almost is. It could be as quick as them selling five tanks and it's over. We're close, no idea on their currently inventory. This thread is a great resource for those currently shopping.

I wish Red Sea would bring out the original 2014 led upgrade for the E and S-Series as a deluxe upgrade that's in that 2014 video.
I'd pay 2k for that right now and get on the waiting list.

That kit was like have the the Phillips CoralCare.
I'm praying that AI and Red Sea part ways and the original led kit comes out.
