Another Mini Complete Tank build

Starting this build thread a little late, I set my tank up on August 16th and my wife’s on September 4th. I’m currently running everything stock but have some goodies coming to improve flow and lighting.

I drilled an ATO in my friends MCT yesterday and it was pretty easy, I’ll order one of those too at some point. Manual top off is pretty easy in these though.

I bought an inkbird temp controller at first for my tank but even with it set to only vary by one degree I was getting 3+ degree swings. The zilla controller from petco seems to work better.

I’m going back and forth on zoa garden and mushroom garden in mine, my wife is going to pick all of hers. I’m waiting for Reef-a-palooza in Chicago to buy coral, anyone else going?

haha when I saw the picture I thought it was a larger tank with a stand, and the dresser surface was the floor of a room.

Got some relatively cheap Primes off eBay for the tanks and one larger return pump to test out. Going to have to crank the primes way down but it seemed like the only decent option to get WiFi etc.

Going to need to drill a bigger hole in the back for the new pump as well lol.

Got one light up and running, the other seems to need fixed. I haven’t messed with the new pump yet, I spent too much time trying to get the other light to work.
