Anthias ID - Did I get 2 different?

hey guys

a friend of mine bought 2 anthias and I guess these are 2 different species…

Can someone confirm Id‘s?

”diversity” in “school”
…a fish school that is
edit add:
unrelated fish will “co mingle” across species….when I used to feed live goldfish to piranhas often the surviving goldfish would be accepted into the school … I’m not the only one that’s witnessed that

Yes you did, they should be fine mixed though. Not sure what exact species they are though.

Sorry, no, I was sort of joking - ALL anthias look like squampinnis to me (grin).

Looks like you got a disbar and a bimac. Both really cool little fish. The bimac may get a bit more aggressive though so keep an eye on him

Have a look at the Fin.. They are completely different..

About 80 percent. I would need a better picture of the bigger one to be one hundred percent though

They just look like a male-female pair of Ignitus anthias to me. Male has the pinker head and female is solid orange.
