Anyone know the species ? Saw them walking all over a few mushrooms (these guys are same size as tisbe pods) I also saw them eating dinoflagellates (can only see them under strong magnification)

One of the mushrooms was closed for a few days - upon inspection noticed these white bugs crawling all over so dipped the shroom in question/ now it’s fully opening and the white bugs are gone from the shroom dipped in coral Rx

I really can't see the critter well, but maybe an ostracod of some kind? Do you have any pics of it under magnification?

I will get a good photo they kinda look like tiny Beatles - they irritate corals and make the whole colony close up when they are crawling on them - quick dip in iodine/coral dip seems to get rid of them & colony opens up within 24 hours after a dip - so far have found them on 3 different species of corals - if I see them again will get 10x photo at least
