Hello, my apex A2 will not connect to fusion. It has an orange light and is connected via ethernet cable. I have tried unplugging and plugging back in. I have tried the reset button. When i go to apex.local it does not load and i do not see an IP address on my network that has association to apex. Apex browse also does not come up with an IP. Any suggestions? Kind of frustrating since apex support wont respond to my emails and their phone answer service just opens tickets.

Did you hold the reset for 25+ seconds? You might need to do a complete and fresh install.

When you say unplugged/plugged back in - do you mean just the ethernet cable or completely power cycling the head unit? If you haven't tried already, try a full power cycle on the head unit.
If you have the display module, you can see the IP address or even switch to wifi to troubleshoot.

If the A2 head unit logo is orange, then that means it is operating as normal with a network connection.

You mentioned you are using wired connection. Do you remember the previous IP address or are you using DHCP? Sometimes DHCP will reuse the previous address. So if you know what that is you can try to reach it using that ip? Remember, local is http, NOT HTTPS.

With regards to the apex.local connection. That is the default address because it is using the default hostname. If you changed the A2's hostname, you will need to use that instead. Example: hostname.local or hostname

If you remember the DHCP address or the hostname (if changed) you can try those. The orange light logo means it is on the network. The question is which one. If you have wireless in the home you can look at both wired, and wireless, networks and see if you can find the Apex ip. Or worse case scenario work backwards. Rule out what IP's you know then try and hit the others.

You mentioned when you go to fusion you don't see anything?
