Not sure about the PM1 module. If you bought the Apex (not light), it has the variable output ports on it and you don't need to buy the VDM to control your DIY LEDs (you would if you are buying an Aqua Illumination LED system).

FYI, if you have the new HD HYDRAS the AWM module will not be able to control them, just got done taking to Terrance from Neptune. The only way to control your THE new HD ones is you have to buy the 2016 Apex! Classic or the JR will not work, see below per Neptune.

The AWM module will only control older AI lights, it will not control the HD lights. Unfortunately, that's a upcoming capability that will only be possible with our 2016 Apex.

Well the good news is you're are just going to have to use AI app to control your HD LEDS.
