Came in on a piece of rock I got last week. I scraped him off and glued over where he was. See what happens. :(

I poke my 3 that I still have. Not ripping them, but annoying them till they die. Does aiptasia x work well? That’s the one you inject it with super glue essentially right?

Aiptasia-x in my experience will make it disappear for a couple of weeks. When it comes back there will be double. What kind of coral do you have? If LPS... Someone else should give you help. If SPS... Do yourself a favor, go get a copperband. He'll eat your aiptasia.... But I hear he'll eat lps and clams also.

Aiptasia X woulds well as long as you use them correctly. It is more of a water/purple thick liquid that you want to put over the mouth of the aiptaisa. The stuff is not toxic to corals and you will see the aiptasia pop, very fun to watch. The reason you want to put it over the mouth (center) is so that when they "pop" the spores don't get release to create more aiptasias. Be a little generous when applying the Aiptasia X just to make sure you get the full mouth.

Just remember that there are a lot of different ways/remedies to fight aptasia but doing so in the tank can pose a risk of spreading as well no matter what method you choose to inject or cover the aptasia with.
