aquaforest sea salt

got this for Christmas as a gift from mother in law 200 gallon box aquaforest sea salt loved it but
can i use for my reef
softies mainly few lps peacies
great gift :) so exited to use it i needed salt mix hahaha
also a 50 dollar gift card :)

Let me tell you, your mother-in law is a keeper:)

For your as is setup right now you are all good. The Aquaforest sea salt has the same parameters as natural sea water and you may have to supplement more Ca, Mg, Alk than the Aquaforest Reef salt of Pro bio salt. If and when you start adding more hard corals and your demand goes up and depending on the parameter the a consideration my need to be made on demand.

Also I you know where the salt was purchase, you could also exchange the salt if you are looking to use Pro bio or reef salt.;)

You sure can use it and it should mix up to natural saltwater parameters.

well i use it and see how it goes haha yeah she's great she got also as a surprise an acan coral and and a orange tip hammer they are frags but hey :) .... i really do not know that much about dosing but i can start :) i have kalkwasser that i never used... i really dont want to ask as dont want to make her feel bad by returning it :) thats why i asked if i could use it

Test before and after you start, then you have a base to start from. Test right before the first water change with the new salt, and the same, right before the next change. This will really help. After that check the parameters mid week and before.
