I cleaned it and I just want to know if I should put this in my new 15 gallon. I am also thinking to drill a few holes for a goby cave

Note: This won't be the only rock I will have in there

Yeah could I get a photo for reference of what you think would be good?
Erm. I guess that's a normal ish size for a DWG. I'm not sure if you can get holes big enough without destroying the peice.

Only one rock for a 15 gallon? Should have at least 10 lbs or so, that’s the way to provide hiding spot for a fish. Not to mention that rock is the bio filter of the tank so it’s very important. It also provide space for micro organisms to breed and space to mount coral. In the old days we used to add 2 lbs per gallon can you imagine? Now we know you don’t need that much but just one rock is just not enough.

Yeah I'm putting more dw my other rock is coming soon, however do y'all think I even need to make holes like look at this. The way the rock naturally sits it makes a cave (I put my thumb in for size estimate)

Depends, look on live aquaria and look through gobies.

IMO blennies are prone to backing into holes like that.

Gobies burrow under the rock.

IMHO - The goby will find its own spot without intervention. If you make it a specific cave, it may never go in it...
He's not wrong, it'll look like something else is inhabiting it.
