are these any good

My lfs keeps posting news letters about these lights, anyone know if they are any good for a non reef aquarium? They are Marineland LED striplights.

i'd say that's a good price for LED's... especially if its a fish-only tank... Icecap also makes nice LED systems, but they are also fairly new and I haven't heard much feedback about them, though Icecap is a solid brand.

they are pretty good for non reef tanks, especially for the price. don't think about growing any type of coral though under those. FOWLR would be just fine though.
