Hello again friends, I have a 2000lt saltwater tank ( concrete tank with 210cmx160cmx75cm) that I will reset it in a few weeks because I am having problems with phosphates and with macro algidae. I will buy a RO/DI system and I will upgrade my diy lighting devices.
Recently I purchased a bunch of DIY equipments to upgrade my lights. So I will put here the list of things that I bought:

Leds 3w :
20 x UV 420-425nm
10 x Cyan 490nm
200 x Royal Blue
100 x Cool White 10000K
50 x Cool White 20000K
50 x White 6500K

4 x 220v to 12v DC 25Amp
4 x TC420 Led Controller

And a bunch of connectors and some cooling fans etc..

I have 2 aluminium sheets fixtures ( 100cm x 50cm ) were I will put the leds.

So I need help and yours opinion about the led layout and how many leds should I use in each fixture to make the right spectrum? I can put 160 3w leds in each one.

This is my tank:

Best Regards

In first! It’s so clean and professional, the woodwork, the reef materials all so clean
I'm a begginer...I know that things should be more clean, and I'm working on it..that's why I will reset my tank because I know I have made a lot of mistakes including the sump cleaning and the water changes. But thanks for your sugestion

Ill let someone more knowledgeable comment on the lights but i had to comment to say your tank looks amazing! I would like to do the same thing in my basement but not sure how to build it structurally sound without rebar. Did you use rebar in the build if so are you afraid of leaching?

Hello. Yes I use rebar and I think it's strong enough. I'm in a earthquake zone and until the present I haven't any problems whit it.
Here is some build pics

#reefsquad can we point him to someone or a thread for help with his DIY LED?
Thanks for your help try. I was thinking that this forum was a litle bit more compreensive and that the veterans in reefs could help others beginners. I'm sorry to notice that is not what happening here. It's sad because it could be a way of sharing knowledge.

Sorry a bit late as you have completed your lights, but here is the layout I used for some DIY LED panels I made on a previous tank. I had 2 panels of these and they worked really well.

The panels themselves had each LED type on a separate channel so they could be dimmed independently. The base LED type were COB with single 3W LEDs to fill in the spectrum. The 'white' channel used combo RB/White COB LEDs.

The panels themselves were 12" x 18" and worked really well for eliminating shadows.
