I'm conducting a study and have chosen to use Nitribiotic as one ingredient but in order to make the study as scientifically relevant and reproducible as possible I'm going to need at least some sort of estimated bacterial count in the product such as cfu/gram or a similar way each strain of bacteria can be enumerated for record keeping purposes. Although it isn't 100% necessary, it would greatly add credibility to the results. Also was it ever determined what species of bacteria the Purple Bacteria are? That's also important. @Hans-Werner

Our Tropic Marin Nitribiotic contains according to COA 6 x 10^7 CFU/mL.

The genera are:

Bacillus 2.2 x 10^7 CFU/mL
Lactobacillus 1 x 10^7 CFU/mL
Saccharomyces 6.4 x 10^6 CFU/mL
Photosynthetic bacteria 4 x 10^6 CFU/mL
Nitrobacter 6.2 x 10^6 CFU/mL
Nitrosomonas 4.4 x 10^6 CFU/mL

Unfortunately we don't know the species of Purple Bacteria yet.

Please tell us about your results.

Thanks for the reply! Are you by chance able to elaborate on the photosynthetic bacterial species? Also, approximately how long and under what preferable conditions do the bacteria take to become active again? I assume they are either endospores or dormant in the bottle.
And yes, I'd love to update you on the results during and after the experiment/study!

I am sorry, I cannot serve with further data. You asked for the bacterial counts which I have given.

Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you very much for the bacterial counts! I really didn't expect to hear back!

Oh, leaving the species of purple bacteria aside, you forgot to mention the count of them...do you have that count because that's actually one of the most important for the study and part of the reason for choosing Nitribiotic over other bacterial mixtures. @Hans-Werner

I'm interested in the results of the experiment as im currently using this to cycle my tank
The experiment was going to be a lot more complex than only assessing it's effectiveness in cycling and due to monetary constraints I chose to put it on the back burner so to speak. I'm sure it'll work fine for cycling a new tank...it's a good choice in my opinion but seems like an expensive choice if your only goal is cycling.
