Bad advice only please!!!

1. API test kits are the most accurate on the market.
2. everything on R2R is perfectly accurate and trust worthy
3. people with thousands of posts are smarter than people with posts under 100
4. Hydrometers are the best tool you can own.
5. top off your tank with saltwater.

You can mix super concentrated salt solution ahead of time, then just dilute it to appropriate salinity right before you need to use it for water change. This way it is a lot easier to mix salt water for use.

Have a problem? Go to the LFS, read the claims on the bottles, and buy the product that claims to solve it. What could be easier?

You don't need to quarantine your animals
No you don't need to test for anything
The nitrogen cycle is a myth
Fish won't get big if they're in a small tank
