Bad advice only please!!!

Personally I always start a tank with invasive nems, Kenya trees, Xenia and gsp... all you have to do is prune them leave the extra pieces in your substrate they’ll die off and you’ll never ever see them again. Perfect for reef beginners.

This thread made my day!

Not me but I overheard an LFS owner-

customer: What's the best way to get my corals to grow?

owner: If you want your corals to grow.. use this...

buy your tank pre decorated from ATM and buy your fish at petco...and a wet dry filter is superior to a sump...the single strip T8 fixture from your freshwater tank will be fine as long as you buy a this 50/50 coral bulb (a lfs actually told me that one)....and cycle your tank with a mandarin...theyre hardy and love tetra min flake food

If you see little white spots on your fish its just there scales growing thicker to accommodate colder temperatures. If they proceed to start dying after this then you should just heat up the tank there probably cold.

You: What do I feed my Mandarin Dragonet?
Me: Oh just some flake food will do fine.

Look at how full my sps tank is! You should duplicate the exact razor’s-edge parameters. (Omits the fact that this system is fed and dosed 27,000 times per day and missing a single daily routine will cause it to crash instantly).
