It was just basically talking about the quality of the shipment and how everything arrived and the reason I was mad for the most part was the zoanthids just the way they arrived in the bag made me think they excreted their poison.

Eh DOAs happen, it's not exactly a necessary PSA. I would always give a vendor or company a chance to fix things before going to forums. In this case the OP realized his mistake.

Just an FYI, qt your purchase. My qt tank now has acoel flatworms all over the glass and UV pump and the only livestock introduced was reef cleaners. Also ordered blue legs as part of my order, which I really wanted, received striped crabs instead which I 100% didn't want as they get big. They did refund me for the mixed up blue legs and dead nessarious(sp?)

Let us know if you got our reply and or what your name is so we can clear this up. I was speaking to someone about sending more cleaners that had a blue leg mixup and mentioned they thought their hermits were thin stripes. We had a few emails and they never mentioned a flatworm infestation. Would be a pretty strange coincidence if two people had the same issue. Can you shoot me an email? They must be herbivores if they are reproducing in your QT with only an order from us.

Interestingly enough my QT tank now has Plaeria flatworms after adding reef cleaners order.....
the order itself was a giant hassle as well where they sent me only half my order and made me pay shipping when shipping was supposed to be free. Then refused to refund me until I threatened to do a chargeback on my cc if I didn’t get the refund for shipping.
no reply from the owner after that but 3 days later I had a refund.

They used to be top notch, but have gone rather downhill the last couple years sadly.

What is your name? I would like to look into this.

It is hard to reasonably defend myself from charges of pest infestations far out from a shipment. How long ago was this?

I’m not claiming it came from you, just seems interesting that others had similar situations. I doubt we can every ay 100% for sure where they came from.

but I emailed you Jan17th about my issues.

As you can imagine, I don't like the inference of infesting people's tanks. She is claiming a different pest. Let me look into this, can you send me your email address or name so I can check out the order issues?

This is why I qt, it's really not a big deal as that is what qt is for and can be dealt with in the qt. I just wanted people to be aware that there could potentially be pests, but that is true from anywhere. As for the crab mix up, not sure what happened but we were refunded for the price of the missing crabs. I was just bummed I didn't get the blue legs, they don't seem to kill my ceriths as often as red legs and the stripped legs seem aggressive so they will live in the qt until I make a trip across the state to a lfs.

It is nice to see a vendor actively trying to correct any issues though.

Maybe my acoel flatworms came from the tank. It had them before but had been dry for roughly 6 months before I set it up for the last order which was 90 days before the beginning of February, that's when my last order from you left qt. Not sure if they came in on this batch or the first or if they somehow survived a dry tank, no rock or sand was reused and it was started with caribsea dry liferock. In 90 days when this batch leaves I will nuke the tank with pig dewormer.
