Does it work out to be the same cost or is one cheaper? I see the base elements get diluted in 9L. But im sure the dose will be higher.

They are diluted with 9L of RODI water to make 10L. You are to start with a dose of 10ml. I believe the core 7 require less of a dose. I have not run a cost comparison I bought the Base Elements because at the time the core7 was sold out. The Base Elements are kind of a pain to dilute. I would recommend the Core 7 due to convenience.

Core7 is a different set of solutions than the original Base Elements, they are constructed in a different manner which enables even more stability and are designed to run at a high pH also.

The composition of the solutions is also different in the bottles so don't get them mixed up.

Original Base Elements
1. Alk
2. Calcium
3a. Mag
3b. Mag

Core7
1. Mag
2. Ca
3a. Alk
3b. Alk
