I'm not sure how I added the favia photo. It was my favorite piece from my last tank that a friend is still holding for me.

Here’s a really cool rock nem i have. It has a really golden yellow base in person and is developing different colored streaks throughout.

Yes that is correct. Looking back, I would have preferred baffles and not teeth as the water falling to the return section can get a little noisy if that valve is opened past a certain point. I could raise the entire water level which would help combat that, but in the end the fuge doesn't need much flow.

Thanks! When my time comes for an upgrade, I'm going to do a very similar sump layout :) I have one more question for you if you don't mind. Your overflow setup:

So many overflow pipes! I imagine one is the primary, one is a secondary, and another is an emergency. Is that right? I'd love if you could explain why you decided to have so many.

Yes. I could have gotten by with one over flow, but wanted to try something different. I'm happy with it so far but yes its a lot of plumbing. I was going for more surface skimming. I could have gone with a custom coast to coast overflow to accomplish the same thing with less plumbing but felt more comfortable going with the synergy shadow boxes. I have read some bad reviews however they have been great in my experience. The tank is fairly quiet given the size, and having dual overflows I can really have as much turnover as my heart desires and little to no chance all of these drains would ever clog.

Tank is just on cruise control. No water changes. I use mostly Brightwell products. For now, until my demand is higher, I use two part... Reef Code A and B. I also use Replenish Trace (5mls Daily), Koral Color (20mls twice a week, Coral Amino (5mls Daily), and Lugols (4 drops, weekly)
