i have a indo gold torch that i bought with a single head in 3 months its about to split into 4 but a lot of the gold has come out of it. certain times it comes back. i was just curious whats the best way to bring back the really gold look?

What lighting do you have it in ?

Put it higher up in your tank around 200 par. Also I spot fed mine with reef roofs and it colored up a little bit more. Gold torches are normally found at the mouths of rivers so they are used to a lot of nutrients, minerals, and light.

I equate our torch color/growth to good consistent lighting, feeding RS ab+ every other day. We have our torches situated in the middle of the tank where par is about 150-170.. Under XR30 G4 non pro and Orphek OR3 Blue bar. Some of our results...

Stability seems to be key with the ones I have. I have Aussie/Indo varieties. I blast them with 200+ par during peak lighting hours and medium to high random water flow. Feeding isn’t necessary.
