Best tangs for ulva algea

Hi everyone I was wondering what is the best tangs for loads of ulva algea tank size is 180 gallons I do have a dussemeri in my observation tank however he does not seem to graze much. I also had a tomini tang before however it never touched any algea however my sohal would non stop go for algea on the rocks. I don’t really want to spend £200 on one though

Weirdly enough my old lawnmower blenny kept all my ulva away. Before it passed, my tank was covered. Took care of it in about a month

I would have blennies but there is a miniatus grouper in the tank

Good fish however the price tag is again crazy

If you don't want to go with fish to get rid of Ulva, fluconazole works pretty good. Or Gold Ring Cowries snails.

I do sort of want to go for fish however don’t want to spend crazy money on them

I think I mix may do well would any zebrasoma tang do as good as a job as a yellow

Have you looked into what is causing the Ulva growth? Addressing that issue feels like the first step, then you can leverage fish as helpers. I am not sure you will be able to "fix" the problem with fish.

I am aware of that what happened was I beat a bryopsis outbreak by ripping it off the rocks it is all gone Now but now this yoga algea has taken revenge. It was there when the bryopsis was but in tiny quantities and never grew much untill now. I have a phosphate reactor and everything else to help can’t check parameters now cause I am away but they were a tiny bit higher than I would like nitrates at around 10ppm and phosphates around the 0.2

I decided to get a scopas tang and like 20 minutes into being in the tank it is nibbling away at all the algea
