BigB-- Bil Brothers passed away sunday

Not sure how many people here knew him but he was a frequent visitor of macna and many other shows. He suffered from Friedreich's ataxia very similar to ms. A side effect was congestive heart failure. He died Sunday of a heart attack at his home with his mother Cindy. He was doing his favorite thing at the time feeding his new naso tang in his new 8 ft 350 gal tank. Had only been set up for a month or so in there new home. He was a very kind man who was adored by many and respected by so many more that had never met him.

I remember talking with Bill. Both in person and online. He was a very nice man and was very pleasurable. He gave my wife lots of encouragement while she was dealing with her cancer. I am very saddened to hear this. Rest in peace bud.

Bill was a great guy and his mother was an angel. I had the pleasure of seeing them at multiple shows throughout the years the last being ReefStock. Great positive people who I will miss seeing.

Thanks everyone. Showed this all to his mother and she is just amazed at the kindness of the people in this hobby and the people who remember them from all the coral swaps and meets.

wow that's very crazy... I have never heard anyone say Fredrichs ataxia besides my family... My little brother has had that since he was 9 and now is 28 but not doing very well.... My thoughts and prayers are with his family I know exactly what they have been going through....:sad:

Yea it's very sad. He was diagnosed around the age of 20 and then past 5 years suffering from the heart failure stuff. For his sake I'm glad he went quickly and did not suffer. Was at home tending to his tanks doing what he loved. As many have said god always takes the good ones.

I will be going over there Friday to purchase some of his corals. All the sales of coral and equipment will be going to ms research foundation. I will take some pics and post them here for everyone to see. He has a $500 eflo colony ( that may be wrong sorry I'm new to Sps lol) table that he bought as a 2" frag that now stands about 8-10" and is about 12" across. He had some of the best corals I had ever seen in person and probably the best in most of Kansas.
