is this too close for comfort? My mother Rainbow anemone loves to expand and is touching the skeleton of torch/cristata. The torch is able to be moved. Should i move it?

You can also see at bottom of the pic a war coral that she has stung and is now fighting for its life!

Too close. I’d move it; It looks like it’s already been stung a few times. I just moved another one of my RBTA’s to my farm earlier because it got too close to my acro

Sorry for the late post but here are the frags that were in the bags from Aqua SD!

Trying some low end sticks for now to see if I have any luck getting them to grow! :)

Planning to add a 24" Reef Brite XHO to my setup to get some extra pop out of the corals.

Question is: Will I need to buy a separate module to connect it to my APEX for dimming or can it directly connect to my APEX VDM?

Any personal experience/pros/cons with the reef brites anyone willing to share?

After reading your log I have to say you done such a great job, this helps me with my 60 gallon build. Even though this was a bit of a older log, I enjoyed it and read through the whole journey. Thanks for sharing and will hit you up with a few questions I might have to help me along the way. RESPECT

Nothing has really changed in my tank besides the growth of corals! :)

Decided to work on my water changing station and stack the 2 brute bins to open up some space in my garage.

Had some pvc and valve laying around so purchased a uniseal and some fittings to make a water level viewer from @Bulk Reef Supply to complete the project. Enjoy the pics!

So i was able to borrow a par meter from a friend the other day and wanted to ask:

For my 60g Cube, are there certain points in the tank that you guys recommend to test? Or is it better to test areas where my corals are currently placed?

So I was able to measure some PAR using a Neptune PMK but not sure how accurate it is...

The sensor was mounted on an acrylic rod I had and placed in position for about 5 minutes at each location.

900 readings are on top of the lid directly under the lights and all PAR readings in the tank includes the lid installed and powerheads on. Below also is my peak light schedule when I did the measurements.

Does this look right to you guys?

Hey, I just finished reading through! Thanks for the thread. Btw, your daughter is adorable! She looks Thai, are you guys from Thailand? I have a 5 month old daughter, kids are great.

Anyway, it’s odd that 356 is right next to 153. As long as your new acros are in the ~3xx range, you should be fine though.
